Little IndiaUnusual Indian restaurant as it is in a thatched cottage! In the Earls Barton village square. Good food, friendly service. It is also the ONLY restaurant in Earls Barton, so you might need to book. |

The Apothocoffee Shop - Jeyes of Earls BartonThis is where we are having our reception, but I couldn’t leave them off this page. Great home-made cakes and locally-sourced icecream! And they do the traditional afternoon teas on the tiered plates. Warning – the portions are generous. |

Earls Barton ChipperyThis is a take-away. Definitely not a restaurant, but if you want to sit on a bench in the village square and eat a very generous portion of superb fish and chips, this is the place to go. |

The Stag's HeadNot to be confused with the pub in Earls Barton which has the same name. This Stag’s Head is situated in the village of Great Doddington which is only about a mile away from Earls Barton. Slightly more up-market than “pub grub” but still relatively traditional English fare. Excellent food. Good service. |

Saffron Northampton – Award Winning RestaurantRude waiters. Over-priced food. I think the “Award Winning” bit on their website was for “The worst service in the world - ever”. Avoid avoid avoid. |

Teapots of OlneyA café rather than a restaurant. Extremely quaint, and Olney is a lovely village to wander round. |
